The core mission of Soroptimist is to provide the necessary resources for women and girls to access the education and training they need for economic freedom. SI Calistoga would not be able to fulfill its mission without your generosity year in and year out. Your contributions have enabled some incredible, brave women and girls in our community to continue and finish their studies, to switch careers and to take care of their families as they had only dreamed of before.
But there are untold numbers of others standing in line praying for some support from organizations like us, from people like you. Together we can keep dreams alive.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Carla finished her studies and is now a registered nurse working in an ICU while raising her 11 year old son alone.
Daphne is almost done with her graduate work and is well on her way to a new career as a social worker after supporting herself in the hairstyling world for 27 years!
Araceli has almost completed her undergraduate studies at PUC with her eyes on social work just as she sent her daughter—whom she has raised single-handedly—to a a prestigious Ivy League school.
