2024 Live Your Dream Award
Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Awards program is unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
The recipient (shown to the left) is the LYD awardee Maritza Ceja. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Pacific Union College in nursing. Her goal is to finish her education so she can be an ICU nurse and care for the most vulnerable. It has been her dream since she became a mother.
Maritza Ceja has shown incredible strength and motivation to accomplish her goals with an enthusiastic and positive attitude besides all her challenges.
2023 Live Your Dream Award
Brenda Fernandez received the Live Your Dream (LYD) Award a signature Soroptimist program.
This award honors a woman who provides the primary financial support for her family and wants to continue her education to improve her employment opportunities. Brenda is pursuing a career in early childhood education.
